Hi and Welcome! My name is Alessandra, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), thanks for being here. I know how difficult it can be to take this first step in starting your journey because I was once there too, and because of this, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows my clients to feel comfortable and supported.

I truly believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and therefore, I take an integrative approach which is grounded in a person-centered and strengths-based framework. What does this mean for you? In our work together, you will be the guide, and I will be there to walk alongside you and support you in your journey to meet your goals and better your overall wellbeing.

As we work together in the therapy room, I hope that we are not only able to help you better understand your symptoms and concerns but also build a toolkit of strengths and skills for you to draw on in your day-to-day life. You may see me utilize components of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness strategies to aid in our work together, as well as some art therapy techniques. If you are ready to embark on your own therapeutic journey, I would be happy to help you in taking that first step.

Hello and welcome! My name is Vanessa, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working as an Associate Therapist at A New Tomorrow. I recognize that taking the first step in this journey can be overwhelming, and I want to assure you that you are not alone. Life is full of challenges, but through reflection and practice we can learn how to conquer the challenges thrown our way and shape the lives we desire. What will it look like with me as your therapist? I believe that everyone has a story, and I strive to provide my clients with a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable sharing yours. I uphold a strengths-based lens in believing that everyone has innate strengths and skills present within themselves, and it is through collaboration of the therapeutic process that these strengths can be discovered, drawn out, and built upon. While primarily working from person-centred and solution-focused approaches, I also incorporate aspects of strengths-based therapy, IFS, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. The diversity of these therapeutic modalities will ultimately allow me to align my approach with your individual needs, treatment goals, and views/ values of healing. I am happy to offer free phone consultations to answer any questions and to see if we may be a good fit! Feel free to visit the book now page to book yours. Whatever your journey looks like, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
